Program Features & Benefits

Bari Boutique

Our Bari Boutique provides our patients with a nice, private and comfortable place to shop for gently used clothes for FREE. It is common for patients to not recognize their new size after a substantial weight loss – trying on clothes can help connect the mind with the new body as they begin to embrace the changes they go through after weight loss surgery. This is made possible through clothing donations.

Our goal is to help take the burden off of our patients as their weight rapidly changes in the months after surgery. We accept sizes 6X down to a small. We ask that all donated clothes are freshly laundered and free from stains and holes. We also accept shoes, purses, belts and accessories.

Patients can shop or donate between 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or before/after a scheduled class or support group. We are located 2 miles from the NGMC Gainesville campus at:

Lanier Park (entrance A)
675 While Sulphur Road
Suite 260
Gainesville, GA 30501

Bariatric Yoga Class

Please join us for a relaxing yoga class prior to our Bariatric Support Group. This class is for new and existing patients who are going through their weight loss journey and are looking to incorporate light exercise while accepting their body in its current state.

You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, but we do have them available for use here during the class.

Community Connections

Our patients have access to our activity wall which keeps them updated on events at our center, lets them know where they can join gyms that offer them discounts and shows fun activities locally that they may have never considered before.

Cooking Classes

Our NGMC medical and surgical weight-loss patients have access to all recorded cooking class videos on our Facebook and YouTube channels. New videos are shared on the first Wednesday of each month and all previous videos are available on YouTube.

Recipe Wall

Our patients have access to our recipe wall so that they can explore new recipes from our cooking classes that support their weight loss journey. It’s hard to stay motivated if you are bored with your routine in the kitchen. Our dietitians creatively create recipes that taste good and support our patient weight loss journey.

Social Media & Livestreams

Our patients can take advantage of our in-person support groups to connect with other patients who are working toward having surgery or who had it years ago. They can also connect with us through social media for virtual support.

Connect with us on Facebook
We have a closed Facebook page for our patients to ask questions, share tips, support and encourage each other.
