Pre-op Class for Bariatric Surgery Patients

In-person or virtual class for surgical patients with a surgical date set

This class is intended for Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s pre-operative weight loss surgery patients. Support people are welcome. Patients will learn how to prepare for surgery, what to expect in the hospital, how to care for themselves after surgery, and when to call the surgeon if needed. Attendance Information:

• This class is taught every month on the 2nd Tuesday every month at Lanier Park and offered virtually via Zoom.
• Support persons welcome to join.
• This is a free class and recommended by our surgeons prior to surgery.
• It recommended that patients attend this class when they are within 2-3 months of their surgery date
