DEA MATE Learning Series
10 individual lectures on the treatment & management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders.
Satisfy the new, one-time eight-hour training requirement issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to meet the conditions of the MATE Act for all registered practitioners on treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders. The course covers the essential information for providers to identify, assess, diagnose and manage patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) and substance use disorder (SUD). The series includes principles of pain management, opioid prescribing, opioid risk assessment and legislative issues.
