Dr. Siva Chiranjeevi joins Georgia Heart Institute

Patients in the Gainesville and Clayton areas now have even more access to expert heart care as Siva Chiranjeevi, MD, returns to Georgia to care for patients at Georgia Heart Institute.

Dr. Chiranjeevi spent time at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, to complete a residency in internal medicine before moving to Mobile, Alabama, to complete a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of South Alabama. He will now be practicing cardiology at Georgia Heart Institute’s locations in Gainesville and Clayton.

“I’ve always liked a small town, community feel, which is part of what drew me to Northeast Georgia Health System,” Dr. Chiranjeevi said. “I like to develop relationships with my patients, so they feel welcome and comfortable in my clinic. I’ve found that helps create an open conversation so we can work together to improve their heart health.”

When he’s not working, scuba diving or dirt biking, he enjoys traveling and hiking with his wife and two sons. The Chiranjeevi family is looking forward to making Georgia their long-term home.

“I am confident that Dr. Chiranjeevi will have a great impact on our patients and community,” said Habib Samady, MD, president of Georgia Heart Institute. “Highly trained, compassionate and patient-focused physicians ensure we deliver on our commitment to improving the health of the community in all that we do.”

Patients can schedule an appointment with Dr. Chiranjeevi by calling 770-534-2020 or by visiting georgiaheartinstitute.org/Chiranjeevi.
