People who trust Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Barrow are likely to receive care from employees who are among the most engaged in the nation, according to a recent recognition. NGMC Barrow has been named a 2022 Human Experience Guardian of Excellence Awardwinner by Press Ganey, a leading third-party company that tracks and analyzes patient satisfaction and employee engagement in health care.
As a winner of the award, NGMC Barrow is in the top 5% of healthcare providers driving employee engagement in the last year.
“Our staff at NGMC Barrow continually step up and respond to challenges thrown their way, ranging from the COVID-19 pandemic to everyday emergencies,” said Sonja McLendon, interim president of NGMC Barrow. “This award is a true testament to how dedicated and focused we are in our mission to improve the health of Barrow County and the surrounding community.”
