Since the Medical Center’s opening in the early 1950s, business and community leaders have played a major role in the development of the hospital, volunteering their time to serve on hospital boards and committees.
Several companies have contributed financially to special projects coordinated through the NGHS Foundation. The need for support from industry is more pressing today than ever before and will enable NGHS to meet the healthcare challenges of the future.

Local Businesses come together every year to support our annual Medical Center Open golf tournament, which raises money to improve community health. In 2021, we will launch a second golfing event: the Laurel Classic at the Legends in Braselton.
