Donating Blood COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma
Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is taking part in this study and asking patients who are 30 days past a positive test result, and fully recovered, to consider donating their plasma.

Volunteer Opportunities
Northeast Georgia Health System continues to recruit volunteers to volunteer in designated service areas within the hospital campuses, such as The Window Shops – Gainesville and Braselton, Front Entrance Screener Stations and Information Desks, Emergency Services Patient Friend, Registration, Hospice of NGMC, Materials Management, Golf Cart Shuttle, Nursing Unit Patient Friend, COVID Vaccine Clinics and special projects. Fully vaccinated volunteers are utilized within designated patient care areas and unvaccinated volunteers are utilized only within non-clinical areas. Those who fall within high-risk categories, including people over the age of 65 or people with pre-existing health conditions, are not eligible to volunteer.
